So this is slightly straying from what we normally post here @no_requests but it is pretty undeniable that The XX are fuckin talented. If I was an A&R or an agent, I would be kicking myself for not signing them. This group of four from south west London are in the middle of a grueling tour that pretty much has them stopping everywhere – so if you’re a fan then you will most likely be able to check them out. This is by no means a new track but fuck it I like the video….how’s that for easy listening??? hmmm tonewise?

Apologies to all, as we have been a lil thin around here with content the last week or so.. Shows last weekend and this up coming weekend in town had taken some focus… not to mention I myself have been without internet at my home for over a week now.. DEATH TO ALL ISP’s .. it’s the information highway, don’t we have some right to free information?? .. i unno your all just a bunch of free music loving hippies anyway right, hahahah don’t front the the govt has you hooked on this digital drug my friends.. or maybe that’s just me.

What can I say about the BEAT ASSASSINS, dudes are massive with the tunes.. not only do they come hard with their original productions all of your favorite DJs favorite DJs come back and rework their tracks with much success.. oh yeah, they might refix and two step the fuck out of one of your tracks.. if your lucky. If you see me out, call my celly, DIRECT HIT VIP is my ringer!

Harvard Bass is a melodic monster, bass included free of charge. I think its safe to say you probably hear one of his in a club every week. Production is just tight, and slides in minimal or major with some heavy basslines for all. CAKED, yeah you aint playin’

Enigma & Shorterz x RipGroove x TOP CAT
So here we have a ripgroove joint that pays nice to the one and only TOP CAT (request the style ppl!) ..pretty much anything that grabs a topcat lyrics get my attention immediately. Then Enigma & Shorterz came along an dubbed this tune out hard with their own dubstep take to this tune.. pretty much making me a happy man, as this tune wobbles on and on.

EDIT*** The original to this one is an old garage track for the late 90’s so not much to link back to the original artist in the way of a myspace etc.. good look on going deep into the crates for this dupstep refix tho, real nice.
Alright Bill, who the fuck are you and why does every tune u refix sound like fyyyyyyyyyyyah! I don’t know if I’m well late on this guys production, or his is just starting to make some good noise but either way, its safe to assume you will hear MOAR.
