its been a little while since I’ve heard a new joker tune but this one was well worth the wait.  in his latest track the bristol badman has remixed  simian mobile disco’s cruel intentions.  I have had this song on blast for a few weeks now and it only gets better and better.  It took me totally off guard when I was at the Annie Mac show last week and she dropped this towards the end of her set – people were moving!! (and not the crowd that usually vibes to that sort of thing) – over and over joker brings that g-funk bounce  and blends it with gutter riddims…expect this man to keep infiltrating your dance floor.

SUB FOCUS
So if you’ve been here before you probably know I am a Sub Focus fan.  Looks like we are about to get hit with a new LP from him in the very near future.. I came across a bunch of previews that all sounded pretty dope.. but they were short snippets and 80 kb.. so I decided to not include the previews for download and include this fancy video instead.. I guess this would be the lead single from the new LP.. Follow The Light will still no doubt be my favorite tune.

This is a Crookers track feat. Willey reworked by DZ, and dammm does this one nag the fuck out!  DZ turns out monster bass tracks, and to be honest when it comes to dubstep he is up there as one of my favorite producers.  Saw him spin a funky basement here in TO last winter and he broke the place in two.. seriously one of the strangest jams I’ve been to in a long time.. basement Portuguese greasy spoon on Dundas West?? yeah, you figure the rest of it out.. bottom line tho, he leveled the floor!
